Anacapa Construction, Inc. was incorporated in California in 1988. Our projects consist of custom homes, major remodels and hillside/beachfront foundations, primarily in the city of Malibu. We have also done projects in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Westlake Village and other cities in Southern California. Jobs range from smaller remodels to multi-million dollar homes.

Lucian Warren, President, grew up in the Washington D.C. area. He attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA for three years where he majored in engineering and mathematics. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. degree. In 1973 he established a construction company in Denver, Colorado which specialized in commercial tenant improvements. From 1979 to 1987, he worked as a licensed contractor in Florida doing projects ranging from custom homes to commercial buildings. In 1988 he moved with his family to Agoura Hills, CA and established Anacapa Construction, Inc.

Peter Melcher grew up in Cape Cod and attended the Rhode Island School of Design. His company, PBM Construction Management has collaborated with Anacapa Construction, Inc. on major projects since 1991. As a Full Partner in Anacapa Construction, he manages job supervision and assists with project estimates. He has worked in the construction industry since 1976 and has an in-depth knowledge of all of the trades. His 28 years of experience and attentiveness to detail ensures that your project progresses in a smooth and efficient way. Having worked in the Malibu area for the last 12 years, Peter is an expert in city permitting and the inspection process.

Sally Weaver, Office and financial manager, grew up in New Mexico and Colorado. She attended Colorado State University and the University of New Mexico. She studied accounting in Santa Fe, NM and thereafter established a small business management company. She sold her business in 1998 and moved with her son to Westlake Village, CA where she currently resides. She joined Anacapa Construction, Inc. in 1998 and handles contracts, accounting and works with Anacapa's clients throughout the building process to help answer any questions that might arise.
